Sight: Broad, round, and of middling height. Looks like a brawler, not a bodybuilder. One eye is large and watery; the other is lost behind an eye patch. Scars -- resembling claws, blades, and shark-bites -- litter her body. Her skin is dusky and greyish and her hair is getting thin. There's something fishlike, or maybe froglike, or maybe both, about the shape of her face and the shortness of her fingers.

Besides being clearly an adult, her age is difficult to determine. She leans masculine in presentation, but has passed as either male or female at various points in her life (it helps to come from a time with highly gendered clothes and roles that help sell it).

Hearing: A raspy, deep voice.

Smell: Like she's been handling fish.

Psychic senses: She's prone to the odd hallucination / jumbled memory.

Magic senses: She's a human who's been claimed by a god! Her vibes are therefore death, putrefaction, and rebirth: blind things squirming on a whalefall, the picking clean of bones on a windswept beach, the quiet rot that bookends life. OOC Permissions

Telepathy/General Brain Stuff: I am completely here for this! Benoîte is from France in and around 1800. Her whole life has been a push against sexism and racism, so recollections of both may show up in her tags, and she may display some sexism as well (though I'm just going to go ahead and say I don't want to write her being period-accurate racist in a public game). She has no idea what being trans is and will probably stumble as she learns about it.

Her backstory is such that the topics of murder, brainwashing, cannibalism, rot/disgusting food, pregnancy, famine, and religious persecution may also come up. I'll pay attention to people's posted CWs, but you're welcome to give me a yell if you'd rather not tag with her. I'm weeezing on discord.
